The Heavy Hitters are eight slasher franchises that I deem praise worthy, for being the toughest names to withstand decades of fans, merchandising, and angry moms against blood and guts in the screen.

These are also the titles that helped me mold myself as a slasher fan from the day I was born. So their sentimental value is high grand for me.
